Shipping policy

I've been sent an invoice for shipping! Help!

 

As you will see below, our shipping costs are based upon weight so the prices vary depending on so many factors such as packaging, bags and boards, size of comic etc. this is why we do not get you to pay shipping up front so we can get an accurate price for you after packing your order. Your order will not be dispatched until the shipping has been paid but the stock is reserved once you've received your order confirmation.

 

How much will my delivery cost? 

  • 0.000 – 0.500 KG - £3.75 
  • 0.501 KG – 0.750 KG - £4.75 
  • 0.751 KG – 1.000 KG - £5.25  
  • 1.001 KG – 1.999 KG - £6.75 
  • 2.000 KG – 9.999 KG - £10.00 

The average $3.99 comic weighs around 80-90g without a bag and board.

 

Can you deliver internationally? 

Yes, we can. A delivery charge will be worked out with our courier and you will be notified before any payment is made. Please note that there may be additional charges for import tax, custom duties and/or fees imposed by the destination country such as handling fees. How is my order sent? Is there tracking information? 

We use both Royal Mail and DHL. All Royal Mail are sent out FIRST CLASS and RECORDED and can be requested via email. All DHL tracking is available through email as soon as  DHL collect your order for delivery.  

 

When can I expect my delivery? 

With all of our deliveries being First class, they usually arrive between 1 – 3 working days but please allow 5 working days to pass until contacting us.

 

SUBSCRIBERS

When will you send the comics?

On an average week we will invoice all weekly parcels on a Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, providing these are paid in a timely manner then we will dispatch on the Tuesday for a hopeful release Wednesday delivery.

 

How often will you send my subscription?

We have a variety of options for frequency of delivery. We split the month up into 4 Wednesdays in a month, if you are a monthly customer you will be given a week number that tells you when we will prompt a delivery. If your given week is unsuitable for any reason please let us know and we will adjust accordingly. We also offer weekly and bi-weekly packages, bi-weekly packages are processed on week 1 and week 3 of the month.

Please note, unless specified we will not prompt a delivery unless you have at least 5 comics in your file, this is to save you money on shipping as it costs us the same to post 1 comic as it does 5.

 

How are my comics packed?

All comics are neatly tucked into a plastic bag so they don't roll around inside the package and are put into a standard comic mailer. Larger parcels are put into boxes and the space filled with either packaging peanuts or bubble wrap depending on availability.


 

There's no paperwork in my package, why so?

We at FPI Comics do as much as we can to limit our carbon footprint and be as eco-friendly as possibly, we will provide digital invoices but like to keep any printing to a minimum.

 

Additional information 

All deliveries must include a minimum of 5 individual comic books before being sent out. This rule is does not come into effect if you are not subscribing to FPI Comics. Subscribers can request us to send their orders out sooner but please be aware the delivery charge for 5 comics is the same for less and cannot be changed.
